They have a table at the local Walmart now

omg i just heard this morning that they have a table set up at the local walmart, so i had to drive by.

it is huge with two huge signs one spanish and one english of blown up pictures of some of the book covers like you can live forever and young people ask, etc with a card table in the middle and two very boarded looking people just sitting there.

this morning was the spanish congo's turn but the walmart is in my halls territory so the english speaking ones from my hall will man it on the english speaking times i guess.

Mary-" the WalMarts up here in my area all have signs out front that clearly state "no soliciting".

All the Walmarts in the VA & MD area also have "no soliciting, or handing out any printed information" signs at the entrances. It must be different in other states.

My ex wife (pioneer, and probably still is) used to try to place litter-ature while I ran into the walmart to pick up a few things. On my in the store I would find the manager and tell him someone is in the parking lot bothering customers trying to sell them religous magizines. By the time I got back out, she would be sitting in the car pissed. She never figured out how the managers found out so fast that she was out there pedeling her trash and put a stop to it.

After I figured out the thuth about the troof, I still attended meetings for awhile. I felt the same as you do now, depressed, stomach problems, especially if I had a part on the TMS or service meeting that I knew was BS. A person knows when he has had enough and sacraficed as much as he can, but can continue no more. Each person is different, Empty inside and 5th generation, only you can tell when this time is. But I can tell you, walking out of the hall for the last time and knowing you will never go back feels so good, enlightening, refreshing, like you just dropped a heavy load and are free to finially start a new life. It is a feeling you both can feel soon, but until then, do what you must. If you need counseling to help you hold on, go get it. But please remember that it is YOUR life you are living, you can not live your life for someone else. To thy own self be true.

i think a balding man has 2 options- 1. hair club for men 2. shave it.. balding men- not hot; bald- hot; bald with goatee- extremely hot!.

Think about it: did I read here somewhere that shaved heads on white guys in the Borg is frowned upon?

Yes, I posted about getting a hard time from the elders about having very short hair, just more than a buzz cut. When I named 4- 5 other "brothers" holding positions with hair shorter than mine, they said that that was different. The only difference was that I was not african- american and they were. That's when I started shaving my head.

I must have it giong on. I've shaved my head for 4 years now, and sport the goatee. Manditory hair care for any biker, unless you go the pony tail route. I never liked the feel of long hair, and I shave even though I have a full head of hair if I let it grow.

But to answer the question: Yes

I posted and asked the same question about naming the tree the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. If you name it that, what do you expect people to do? They are going to eat from it. The god from the Bible seems like a selfish, insecure, spoiled child. Kind of like the kid that demanded that you play ball the way he wanted, or he'd take his ball home. Kind? Loving? Just? Hardly!

The two witness rule

suppose an active jehovah's witness sees a worldly person abusing a worldly child; for example, touching her genitals, and the witness goes to the police.

the worldly police will take action.. now, suppose the same jehovah's witness also sees a witness abusing a witness child in the same way, touching her genitals.

the witness knows he can't go to the elders because there are not two witnesses to the fact.. does the witness get to think that there is something very wrong about the two witnesses rule?

He went to the elders and told them what went on, therefore he Confessed to wrongdoing. Then there is no need for 2 witnesses. That is how it works in watchtower land. You engaged in wrongdoing, you must be punished! Most of the attackers of the children never confess, thereby needing the 2 witnesses to confirm the crime.
